You are already a quarter of your way into learning BSL with RNID Connect – well done! For this instalment, we’re exploring words and phrases that will help you to describe your day, or to ask people how they’re feeling.

Things to remember when using BSL

- Remember to use facial expressions as well as signing with your hands – watch the videos carefully below. BSL users will read your face as well as your hands.

- Remember to face the person you’re communicating with directly, so they can see you clearly.

- Practice makes perfect. Practice BSL in front of a mirror, or with friends and family, to embed your learning.
