RNID Connect: Celebrating progress

RNID Connect Month 12: Celebrating Progress!

You’ve made it! Give yourself a good old handshake for doing an excellent job.

Celebrate your progress with these rightfully proud words!

Things to remember when using BSL

    • Remember to use facial expressions as well as signing with your hands – watch the videos carefully below. BSL users will read your face as well as your hands.

    • Remember to face the person you’re communicating with directly, so they can see you clearly.

    • Practice makes perfect. Practice BSL in front of a mirror, or with friends and family, to embed your learning.

Thank you

Amazing work: you’ve completed a whole year of learning BSL. Thank you for your support and being a fantastic Deaf awareness ally. You’ve already helped to improve the lives of deaf people, and people with hearing loss, across the UK.
