The role of our Board of Trustees here at RNID is central to how we operate: providing positive challenge and strategic direction that underpins all our decision making as a charity. We are really excited to welcome two new Trustees to the RNID Board as we start our new financial year.
We would like to extend a big welcome to Ruth Thomsen MBE and Clive Warner who will be joining RNID’s Board over coming months, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the organisation.
These changes to our Board come as we are seeing increased impact in our strategic work to change public attitudes towards people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus, to make systems and services more inclusive, and to provide information and support to individuals, one by one.
Our new trustees were selected for the Board through a trustee-led interview process, and will be officially confirmed in role at the July Board meeting.
