RNID is launching a new report which shares insights from employers, and recommendations from us about how employers can become more inclusive.
As part of this work we held an event at Google’s Accessibility Discovery Centre in London on 18 January, with insights from;
- Christopher Patnoe, EMEA Lead for Accessibility and Disability Inclusion, Google
- Claire Lavery, Associate Director of Employment at RNID
- Sandra Arnold, Regional Head of Learning, GroupM
- Kate Reynolds, Contact Centre Lead, RNID.

The employment report
The research is based on round tables with senior executives held in 2022 and results from our online employment survey of those who recruit or line manage staff.
Our report explores the gaps in knowledge and resources that employers felt impacts their ability to support staff with hearing loss, and how these gaps might be addressed. It highlights differences between views from senior leaders and those in operational management roles. RNID will also be delivering recommendations and actions for how organisations can start to take action.
